Encik Tan, an eatery halal certified by MUIS, started its first outlet at Kallang Wave Mall, serving local delicacies such as oyster omelette, fried carrot cake and wanton noodles amongst other dishes.
The concept behind Encik Tan came about from the idea of having our Muslim counterparts savour popular local food prepared with halal ingredients while retaining the nostalgic flavour and taste of the dishes at a reasonable price.
